Maidan is an upcoming Indian film on sports in Hindi. It covers the golden age of Indian football from 1952 to 1965 with Ajay Devgn as the football coach. It features Ajay Devgn as actor Syed Abdul Rahim who is known as a modern Indian footballer. The film is directed by Amir Sharma. The field of film was developed with the help of Kozi Studio's B-Projects LP. National Award winning Suresh will start his films from Maidan Film. The shooting of this film started on 19th August 2019. Maidan Film will be released on 15th October 2019 in different cinemas.
Introduction of Syed Abdul Rahim:
Syed Abdul Rahim was an Indian football coach who was the manager of the Indian national team from 1950 to 1963. He led the Indian football team for 13 years and laid the foundation of football in India. He also won a gold medal for India at the 1962 Asian Games in Jakarta.
What difficulties did the film Maidan face?
The storm killed many people and damaged many parts of India. The storm did not spare them even in Ajay Devgn's film but luckily it No one was killed but the part where Ajay Devgn had to do this part of the film was badly damaged.
